Ad Buzz: Join the Buzz

Using Twitter as the backbone for communication, Ad Buzz now features a topic of discussion for you to connect with students of advertising and/or the advertising industry. Whether you have a strong opinion you’re eager to share or a question you wish to pose, joining in on “The Buzz” is a great way to have your voice heard.

The “Join the Buzz” strip can now be found on every page of the Ad Buzz website:

You will find the question or topic displayed on the right side of the “Join the Buzz” strip along with the Twitter handle of the individual who submitted it. Clicking the Twitter handle will bring you to the profile page of the question/topic’s composer, making it easy to find and follow them on Twitter.

Simply click the button in the “Join the Buzz” strip and a separate window will pop-up for you to tweet directly from the Ad Buzz website (please allow pop-ups for your browser if prompted). Type in your response next to the provided space in less than 140 characters to join in on “The Buzz”.

IMPORTANT: Remember to keep the #AdBuzz hashtag in your post when responding in order for others to see your comments.

To follow the conversation, simply run a search on Twitter using the #AdBuzz hashtag and all previous responses and comments will be displayed for you to review. See what industry professionals and other students have to say and engage in conversations with them – this is the perfect way to network and Ad Buzz is here to break the ice for you.

And that’s it! New questions and topics will be posted depending on the number of requests and submissions. Check back on the #AdBuzz hashtag often via Twitter to keep up-to-date with the conversation in order to take full advantage of the networking and communication opportunities.
