Vitaminwater turns to CP+B

After a rough start to the 2011 year, CP+B is bouncing back by taking the reigns in Vitaminwater’s newest campaign “You’re Up.” The renowned agency looks to continue its impressive legacy by turning the Coke-owned brand around, after a slight dip in sales last year.

The newest of the television spots follows a young man in his wild, live fast, die young lifestyle, who returns from college only to be confronted by his father. “Joe” turns to Vitaminwater for energy and the power of perseverance. A cameo by Steve Nash keeps the spot fresh, along with the musical selection (which some of you may recognize fairly easily).

Even though CP+B is not officially the agency of representation (AOR) for the brand, this is an encouraging step in the right direction for both sides. We will wait enthusiastically for what the rest of 2011 brings in regards to the “You’re Up” campaign.
