Lee Clow: The Man, The Beard, The Book
Posted by Chris Campaner on May 12th, 2012
If you’re in advertising and active on Twitter, you’ve probably come across a one-of-a-kind handle: @leeclowsbeard. With an incredible following, endless musings on this business and a book in the works, we bet you didn’t know that Lee isn’t even on Twitter.
Lee Clow, the legendary TBWA\Chiat\Day ad man who’s been behind much of Apple’s iconic branding over the years, was only recently introduced to the Dallas-based copywriter (who shall remain nameless) that has been tweeting on behalf of his eminent beard. Rob Schwartz (@schwartzie14) made the formal introduction happen and reports from mashable.com indicate that an illustrated book is due out to capture the essence of some of the best tweets thus far.
Due to be released June 12, 2012, it’s sure to be a fun piece of literature floating around agencies and schools; all thanks to the anonymous copywriter with an affinity for wise beards.
