It all started with a simple click of a mustache and the three bright minds behind Mighty Mighty You were heralded as the internet’s source for collaborative encouragement.

“Click the mustache for a salute”

While it’s not a love song serenade, one can’t help but feel a warm fuzzy feeling when a group of complete strangers cheer you on. Because who doesn’t deserve a good applause once and awhile?

Here’s some recognition for reading the article:

So, what’s the idea behind Mighty Mighty You? Visitors to the site upload videos showcasing their appreciation for complete strangers. And what do they get in return? A daily dose of encouragement.

This is what Mighty Mighty You’s own Cameron Ferrin had to say about the idea:

“We want to stand as a reminder that the world is filled with fantastic people who genuinely want each other to succeed; the fact that we don’t know all of these people personally really doesn’t change the meaning”.

And if this wasn’t impressive enough, the three students from VCU Brandcenter decided to trek down to NYC for their launch and to drop-off personal invites to Mashable, WKNY and Jack Morton.
